After 20 years in the manufacturing business, I quit to go back to school. I took AutoCad 12 classes at a local college where the teacher told me I should be learning to do 3D art. I did not know what that was at the time and continued on my course to become a CAD drafter. I ended up with a CAD job on a Unix system using CimLinc and completely forgot my AutoCAD.

Years later (about 4 years ago) a game designer asked if I wanted to learn to use Bryce. That was the start of my 3D journey. I still have much respect for Bryce and feel that it has been treated like an ugly stepchild and its full potential has been ignored. Too bad.

I now am in the early stages of Vue6Infinite learning and creations. I have not opened Bryce in months. I also have Hex2, XaraXtreme, Poser6, DazStudio, Carrara and use PSPXI for my postwork.

I feel a bit old to be learning so much at this late stage in life but I love doing it and creating in 3D. I hope to continue to improve and take online classes to meet that end. My goal is to create a 'masterpiece' some time before the end of my life. It may just happen.

Stats: Blissfully married for 25 years, no children, love to golf and fish.
